Frame Duplication Forgery Detection and Localization Algorithm Based on the Improved Levenshtein Distance

In this digital era of technology and software development tools, low-cost cameras powerful video editing (such as Adobe Premiere, Microsoft Movie Maker, Magix Vegas) have become available for any common user. Through these softwares, the contents videos became very easy. Frame duplication is a forgery attack which can be done by copying pasting sequence frames within same in order to hide or replicate some events from video. Many algorithms been proposed literature detect such forgeries sequences through analyzing spatial temporal correlations. However, most them are suffering low efficiency accuracy rates high computational complexity. paper, we proposing an efficient robust frame detection algorithm duplicated based on improved Levenshtein distance. Extensive experiments were performed selected captured stationary moving cameras. experimental results, showed efficacy compared with state-of-the-art techniques.
